Refilwe Bophelo Clinic is a non-profit organisation with a Section 21 Registration (2012/022554/21). We do not receive funding from the government, although they do provide us with family planning methods and immunisations. We are constantly seeking partners to help us improve the services we provide to the community, and to ensure that they will be sustainable.

We are very blessed to have partnered with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in the USA, who fund the salaries for our two community caregivers. Sister Didi Mojapelo and Dr. Mamothe Ratshefola, who provide the medical care and supervision are not currently drawing salaries, but are graciously volunteering their time and experience.

Services we provide include:
  • Immunsations and Well Child Checkups
  • General Illness assessment and medication distribution
  • Family Planning
  • Pre- and Post-Natal Care
  • HIV Testing and regular CD4 count monitoring
  • Ongoing counselling and education on the importance of taking the medication correctly
  • Pap Smears and Breast Exams
  • Health Education at schools, organisations and surrounding settlements
  • Home Based Care
  • Youth Friendly Services (family planning, pregnancy and HIV support groups)
  • Outreach programs (medical information and practical support for communities)
  • Campaigns in conjunction with the Department of Health

We charge a minimal fee to cover the expense of medication but will never deny medical care to those who are unable to afford it. Because of this, we seek partners to help us cover our running costs so that we can continue to support the disadvantaged communities around us.
